Well the screen is done- but still waiting on the sample shirts…..

I dropped off the screen for tags which should be done by tomorrow- so HOPEFULLY, I will have a sample shirt by the end of the week. ALSO, I will be printing in women sizes. If you would like to check out the United Network For Organ Sharing click here. (Where yo money is goin)
I saw Fall of Troy and Thursday last night at Bowery Ballroom. I know now that I am too old for the pit. So lesson learned, I guess, I will go back to balconies and the sidelines and refuse to leave my walker behind. Such a good show. I really like the new Thursday record and cannot- CAN NOT wait for the new Fall of Troy. AND the new Moneen was released last week- FANTASTIC.
I am not sure why I have never mentioned this before, because it is one of the best things ever:
Congratulations to Brandon and all of those who worked on The Bob Zula for getting into the upcoming Fractured Lens Video festival next month in Chicago. Go here for more info regarding tickets and etc.
Check out more of Brandon’s work here including his projects while he attended NYFA and his most recent “Skyline Workers”.
We’ll talk soon. Eternally Yours,

Evan was a major influence in my life. From art, to music, to the way I live. I still haven’t really been able to let him go, although I know that he has been gone for a month now. I am finally past the fact that he isn’t coming back, that this isn’t some sort of sick joke, that he is really gone and it really hurts to think that I won’t be able to hug him or laugh with him again. In hindsight, I never thought the times we wasted or spent driving aimlessly looking for something to do would be the ones that I remember most- but I am glad to have them. I’m glad that I knew him and I am glad that I can still hear his laugh in my head.

He was an amazing artist and inspired me to be a better one. He forced me to try new things and pushed mixed cd’s down my throat until the only thing I wanted to listen to was what he gave me- it’s still that way. Evan brought people together. Over the years, he has introduced me to some amazing people, some of which I hold very dear to me, as I do him.

I haven’t ever lost anyone so close. It puts a lot into perspective and pulls a lot up that you wouldn’t of otherwise thought about. In his passing I have realized a lot about myself and have also realized how little emphasis we put on life and on our relationships with each other.
EV, YOU WILL BE MISSED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN.

By the end of this month, Young Professionals will be releasing a limited edition Evan Wishnia t-shirt. I also plan on releasing prints of that shirt as posters. Today I took the screen in to be burned and will have samples available hopefully by next Monday. Profits from the sales will be donated to the United Network for Organ Sharing.

So, I’m in Texas for some well needed (not so much deserved) r & r. go to the store and go shopping- I’ll be back to send out all orders on the 14th. Sale will end then. So goooo shoppin.

So, Texas:

Is too hot, but its good to see old friends and the family. My parents relocated after I moved to New York and now live in an area just north of San Antonio about 5 minutes from the Guadalupe river- where i have been working tirelessly on my tan.
Part of the reason for this sabbatical is to kind of figure things out for not only the company but for my personal life, as well. So far so good.
I will speak with you soon- thanks for your support.

RIP BM. You were a great man. Billy (III), keep your head up- you’re in my thoughts- and mom says hi, too.

This is the first of a few mini drops to come this summer- only 30 were made and spread between S,M,L,XL. So grab them while they’re available.
Well, Its good to be back, I feel like the last few weeks I have been a little m.i.a. and I have been. Not a vacation, per say, but.. ohh… maybe like a coma. I haven’t been sitting on my hands the whole time,though- or as my father would put it- “sitting around with my thumb up my ass”. I love you dad.
There are a few of you that may know what this is- Dan counting as a few.
New shirts should be in by the end of next week- after they’re all dolled up with tags, I take photos and a bunch of what have you’s.
i love you but i’ve chosen breakfast.
ACSYNGPRONYC
(theres a twitter too, I decided the one I signed up for last year wasn’t doing anything so i converted it to: ACSYNGPRONYC. I’d make it linkable but I still half-despise all of this twitter nonsense)
So its been a little bit since we’ve blogged and I should start out firstly with:
GO SEE THE BROTHERS BLOOM

Dan and I were lucky enough to see it opening day at the Angelika in SoHo. Afterwards Rian Johnson was on hand for a short Q&A. I want to see it again. We’ve been waiting on this movie since November- I’m really glad that its coming out.
Secondly:
Unfortunately Dan will no longer be with YNG PRO NYC. Its so weird to say/type and to be completely honest, it hasn’t really sunken in yet. I wish him the best in all of his future endeavors and will probably see him tomorrow to ride bikes or do something fun, haha. He’ll be around for moral support- Keep up on all of his happenings here: Eyes Out Chin Up. Love that kid
Thirdly:
There will be a few changes here and there with the company, but the drive will still be the same. SS2010 is still happening if it kills me. There will be some drops of limited stuff as well as early releases here and there so stay tuned. I need your help getting the word out. I appreciate any support you can offer, even if it’s just a hug or a high five.
Thank you Mr. Moffo, Mr. Svehla & Mr. Tracy for your recent orders.
XO-A
